HOW DO YOU KNOW AN OFFSHORE SPORTBOOK WILL PAY YOU?

I HAVE BEEN GAMBLING FOR AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER. SPORTS GAMBLING IS SOMEWHAT OF A HOBBY FOR ME, AND I PLAY A LOT IN THE CASINOS. MY QUESTION IS IF YOU SEND YOUR MONEY TO SOME OTHER COUNTRY TO BET ON SPORTS HOW DO YOU KNOW THEY WILL PAY IF YOU WIN? DO YOU NEED TO "KNOW" SOMEONE TO PLACE WAGERS AT ONE OF THESE ESTABLISHMENTS?
I BECAME INTERESTED IN THIS AFTER WATCHING SOME OF A COLLEGE GAMBLING TRIAL ON COURT TV.

There is no 100% way of knowing, but if you play at solid shops I'd say you have a 99% of getting paid.

Solid shops include the current advertisers & a few others (WSEX, Olympic, BetAustralia).
When in doubt ask the Mods - they're pretty honest guys.

John welcome to the RX....IMO the key is to find a reputable book and the best way is to use the POSTERS of this site and there dealing wit certain books..We have a sportsbook review section also with writeups on the books....There are a few VERY solid ones...IMO Pinnacle, Olympic and WWTS are the ROCKS of the offshore IMO..many other books are solid as well..good luck and take a look at the sportsbook review section

THE IMPRESSION I AM GETTING SO FAR IS THAT THE BEST WAY IS WORD OF MOUTH FROM STRANGERS HERE ON THIS SITE. NO OFFENSE TO ANYONE BUT WHERE I COME FROM YOU DO NOT SPEND A LOT OF TIME PLACING FAITH IN STRANGERS. welcome to the rx. i am one of the "mods" that lander was talking about. the other mods are general, angelle, uncle butternuts, and dante. SHRINK is the owner of this site.

the best answer i can give to your questions about the saftey of wagering offshore is that there are quite a few solid establishments that have spent a lot of time, money, and hard work to establish a solid name for themselves. the last thing they want to do is ruin that.

the books that advertise on this site are a GREAT place to start. you shouldnt have any problems at all playing at one of them. there are of course other books that dont advertise here that are solid as well.

to answer your question about us helping if you have a problem, yes we will certainly try to mediate between a player and a sportsbook should any problems arise. but i must warn you that sticking with the books that advertise here should be a good start at avoiding the possibility of running into any problems.

Play at these following books and you will have no problem getting paid:

Cascade
Pinnacle
Jazz
Grande
Hollywood
Olympic

Those books have everything that you need and you will enjoy betting offshore if you are with them. Good Luck!

Big John, take the above advice and you wouldn't go wrong. Personally, I play with Betworks in Australia and never had a problem. Books in Costa Rica and other 3rd world countries with no regulations I would stay away from.
